Who is responsible
Sampu Dynamics (Pty) Ltd is the responsible party for personal information processed through this website and our services, under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). What we collect
- Contact details you send us — name, email address, organization, and the content of your message — when you use the contact form or email us.
- Engagement and billing information for clients — the details needed to scope, deliver, and invoice work.
- Technical data collected by our hosting provider in ordinary server logs (such as IP address and pages requested). We do not run advertising trackers.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Paystack, a licensed payment provider. Your card details are entered directly with Paystack and are never seen or stored by Sampu Dynamics. Paystack's handling of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.
Why we process it
- To respond to enquiries and deliver contracted services.
- To invoice, receive payment, and keep the financial records the law requires.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not send marketing without consent.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to operate — hosting, email, and payment processing — under agreements that protect your information, and authorities where the law requires disclosure. Some providers store data outside South Africa; where they do, POPIA's conditions for cross-border transfers apply.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as the purpose it was collected for requires, or as long as the law requires (financial records, for example, carry statutory retention periods), and we protect it with appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, and complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za). Write to contact@sampudynamics.co.za to exercise any of these rights and we will respond within a reasonable time.
